Washington County Schools invites the community to attend The Underground Railroad: Bound for Freedom art exhibit, featuring student artwork from Washington County Middle School, North Washington, and St. Dominic School.The exhibit showcases students’ artistic interpretations inspired by the history of the Underground Railroad, offering a meaningful look at courage, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom.

An opening reception will be held on February 2, 2026 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Springfield Opera House, located at 124 W. Main Street in Springfield. The exhibit will remain on display during regular business hours from February 2 through February 27.
